What is Plinian?
A plinian eruption is a type of volcanic event. Specifically, one where a constraint is removed and massive amount of potential energy is released. These events have the potential to change the landscape for generations.
When I left Bridgewater Associates and founded Plinian, the goal was to focus on that pivotal moment of expansion. After 15 years at one of the biggest, I wanted to help emerging managers build out their commercial and business development strategy.
The challenge - many are not yet at a scale to support that level of experience.
Plinian Strategies looks to step into that need, The idea is simple. Find impressive managers, offer a long-term partnership with them, and help them execute on their vision.
